The biggest question we are asked about buying a solar battery - is it worth it?
It's no secret power bills are on the rise and there is no end in sight. Even with many variables to consider, we are finding our customers are choosing to add a battery when buying their solar system - because the figures are stacking up.
Our recent 13.2kw installation comprised of a SolarEdge 10kw Energy Hub inverter, REC Twin Peak 5 Black solar panels and a SolarEdge 10kw battery. Based on usage, location, orientation and other variables, they are expected to save nearly $71K over the life of the system. That's a total return on investment of 246%.
So, is a solar battery worth installing?
